This is my new album Piano Love. It had been sitting on the shelf for a couple of months and I couldn't find the right time to release it. The right time is never, so I decided to just put it out.
It has 10 tracks and every beat has a piano as the key sample. The piano is my go-to instrument when it comes to sampling, so I already had a lot of beats with pianos sitting on my hard drive.
By the time I decided to do the project, I was listening heavily to The Alchemist and Roc Marciano's album "The Elephant Man's Bones," so that inspired the aesthetic of the beat tape a bit.
The drums are usually pretty minimal and the tempo is low, to let the piano shine and do the heavy lifting.
