Action Bronson's freestyle at Funkmaster Flex is one of those iconic live moments: raw delivery, humor and wordplay, straight off the top. I wanted to hear that flow over one of my own beats, so I put the freestyle on Motion, a boom bap instrumental of mine.
The result is a new take on a classic performance. Same energy, different backdrop. Motion pushes forward with rolling drums and textures that give Bronson's delivery a fresh groove.
The Beat: Motion
Listen to the original Motion beat on YouTube. Motion is available on BeatStars. If you want to talk about the beat directly, send me an email at pacoinaction@widontplay.com.
More Bronson: his track Morey Boogie Boards, produced by Harry Fraud.
