Copper Soul is an 86 BPM instrumental built around a soulful trumpet sample over heavy boom bap drums.
The trumpet is the emotional center of the track. I left the sample rough, with all its texture and age, so it keeps a worn, warm quality with a little bite.
The drums are punchy and direct and push the beat forward. The groove stays tight and raw, stripped down to what it needs.
The mood sits somewhere between a Pete Rock flip and a late-night drive with no destination. Heavy and soulful, straight from the crates.
Copper Soul lives on YouTube only.
Another horn-driven beat: Let The Horns Talk at 92 BPM.
