Ghostface Killah – Soul Thang | Official Music Video

 

Supreme Clientele 2 came out in August 2025. "Soul Thang" is getting the official video treatment today and it earns it.

The track features DRIS, NEMS, Iceman Bronxman, Supreme-Intelligence, Sun God, Pillz and Reek da Villian — a full crew assembled around Ghostface in the way he has always operated best. Staten Island collective energy, multiple voices, one shared aesthetic. The original Supreme Clientele from 2000 worked the same way. SC2 carries that DNA 25 years later.

The album sits within Mass Appeal's "Legend Has It" series, a conscious curatorial decision by Nas and Steve Stoute to bring foundational hip-hop artists back into the spotlight with full label support. De La Soul's Cabin In The Sky, which we covered a few weeks ago, belongs to the same series. The context matters: these are not retirement projects or nostalgia moves. They are artists who still have something to say being given the infrastructure to say it properly.

Ghostface Killah's catalog runs from Ironman in 1996 through Fishscale, More Fish, The Big Doe Rehab and beyond. He is one of the most distinctive storytellers the genre has produced. The kinetic imagery, the pop culture references dropped mid-verse, the warmth underneath the street content. Supreme Clientele in 2000 was considered his masterpiece. SC2 does not try to replicate it — it extends from the same foundation while standing on its own.
