"All It Takes Is One Bad Day" is the second single off Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, the full collaborative album between CZARFACE — Inspectah Deck, 7L and Esoteric — and Tom Hardy, operating under the alias Frankie Pulitzer. Hardy has guested on several CZARFACE songs before, performing as FacePuller on two tracks from the group's 2021 EP Good Guys, Bad Guys and appearing as Frankie Pulitzer on their 2022 album Czarmageddon! This is the first time the collaboration gets a full album built around it. CZARFACE already has full projects with MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah. Adding Frankie Pulitzer to that list puts Tom Hardy in genuinely strange and genuinely impressive company.

The title is not accidental. "All It Takes Is One Bad Day" is the central thesis of The Killing Joke, one of the most important Batman graphic novels ever written. The Joker's argument to Commissioner Gordon: one bad day separates sanity from chaos. CZARFACE has built their entire aesthetic on comic book and superhero references and this title fits that universe perfectly while landing darker than most of what came before.

The 15-track album features guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Method Man, El-P and Kendra Morris. That is a guest list that commits fully to the underground pedigree the project promises. Inspectah Deck and Esoteric as the lyrical anchors, 7L on production as The Czar-Keys, and Hardy holding his own across a full album runtime. On the lead single "Brothers Grimm" Hardy follows a lead-off verse from Inspectah Deck and acquits himself nicely, his delivery drawing comparisons to Action Bronson.
