This is a summit that should not be possible. And here it is.

"Rabbit" is the third single from DPG Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang DPG: The Godbody LP, the landmark collaborative album from Rakim, Kurupt and Masta Killa dropping September 18. Mac Shawn 100 provides West Coast reinforcement on the feature. The Westlyfe-directed video is cinematic and grounded at the same time, showing the trio inside a club lounge performing the track and meeting fans, rolling up and sipping while trading bars that remind everyone exactly who they are dealing with.

Three names, three eras, two coasts. Rakim is, in many conversations, the greatest to ever hold a microphone. The God MC. Eric B. & Rakim redefined what lyricism could be in the late 80s and Paid in Full remains foundational to everything that followed. Kurupt is Tha Dogg Pound, Death Row, one of the sharpest technical MCs the West Coast ever produced. Masta Killa is Wu-Tang, the last man to join the Clan and a lyricist whose patience and precision have always set him apart. Putting these three on one record is a statement about legacy itself.

The concept behind The Godbody is even bigger than the lineup. The album was built to embody a vision first imagined by the late Tupac Shakur, to unite the greatest emcees from the East and West Coasts into a single undeniable body of work. Recorded across both coasts, Kurupt representing California, Masta Killa and Rakim representing New York, it aims to give fans the feeling of "One Nation." That was Pac's dream. Three decades later, these three are carrying it out.

The fully revealed tracklist is staggering. "Rock Ya Body" unites Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and Daz Dillinger. "Still Ill" places Kool G Rap next to KRS-One, two founding fathers on one song. "Thelonius" brings Buckshot with Rim and Trigga. Killa Sin appears on "Upstate Introspective." Snoop Dogg closes the album on the "Rabbit" remix. And the interlude "God Speak" lists Eminem and Jay-Z. The whole thing is produced almost entirely by Rakim and Nick Wiz. This is not a nostalgia cash-in. It is a genuine event.
