Evidence – Cats & Dogs | Tracklist and First Video from the Rhymesayers Album

I can hardly wait for this one. Evidence from Dilated Peoples is about to drop his second solo album Cats & Dogs, and I will be picking it up the day it comes out. To make the wait easier, here is the video for You, the new single from the album.

Evidence Cats & Dogs album cover, second solo album by the Dilated Peoples MC on Rhymesayers Entertainment

Cats & Dogs

The album comes out on September 27 via Rhymesayers, his first release on the label and his first solo album since The Weatherman LP in 2007. The production is stacked: The Alchemist, DJ Premier, Rahki, Sid Roams, Twiz the Beat Pro and Ev himself. On the mic he brings in Raekwon, Ras Kass, Prodigy, Roc Marciano, Slug, Aesop Rock, Aloe Blacc and more.

You

DJ Premier is behind the beat, and the video was directed by Todd Angkasuwan. Premo and Ev on one track is exactly the combination I was hoping for, and it makes me even more excited for the rest of the album.

My Take

With that lineup of producers and guests, this could be one of the albums of the year. Less than three weeks to go.
