Back in the Michael Jordan days, Scottie Pippen was actually my favorite player on the Chicago Bulls. That probably had a lot to do with the fact that everybody else thought Jordan was the coolest, and even back then I was never much into whatever was mainstream. But Scottie was also a killer on the court, and he proved it in the 1993-94 season, when he had to lead the Bulls without Jordan.

The 1994 All-Star Game
On February 13, 1994, at Target Center in Minneapolis, Pippen led the East to a 127 to 118 win. He finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds, both game highs, and hit five threes. The MVP award was his, and he had earned it.
My Take
Sadly, the All-Star MVP was the only big award he won that season, even though he carried the Bulls the whole year. For me, Scottie will always be one of the most complete players ever. If you want to see him next to MJ in the Bulls' best years, check out the documentary Unstop-A-Bulls.
