he visual treatment matches the title perfectly. The video combines archive material with drone shots from Invent.ed and graffiti art by Geraldo Da Kid, edited by Louis FMA, 34 Block Party, and JD.256. That mix of old footage, aerial perspective and street art gives the track exactly the atmosphere a title like "Masters Of The Dark Art" deserves. Heavy on texture, nothing glossy about it.
DJ Crypt has been building a reputation in the underground for productions that don't chase trends, and Tales From The Crypt fits squarely into that body of work. The vinyl first release strategy says something too. This is a project meant to be collected, not just streamed and forgotten.
Mirko Machine brings the right energy to the collaboration. Two producers working a shared concept, no filler, no phoned in contribution.
