Mädness – Klug (prod. von Enaka)

Four years is a long time. Mädness is back with a solo track.

"Klug" is the first solo release from Marco Döll since Maggo lebt in 2022. In between, the Darmstadt MC dropped ISSO in 2024 as a collaborative project with Yassin, which landed at number 10 on the German charts. But a solo track is a different statement — and "Klug" produced by Enaka is exactly the right format for that return.

Mädness and Enaka have been working together long enough to operate without wasted moves. The production history runs through some of the most consistent output in the German underground: "2 Cent," "Handbremse," "Kein Ort" with Marteria, "Ich mach's noch mal neu." Enaka knows how to build a backdrop that serves the bars without competing with them. That is exactly what a solo comeback track needs.

Mädness started his career in 2004 as a freestyle rapper before releasing his debut album Unikat in 2007. He has since built a reputation as one of the most technically gifted MCs in German rap — Marcus Staiger at Rap.de called him "Der komplette MC." The solo albums OG in 2019 and Mäd Löve in 2021 kept that standard. "Klug" picks up where that run left off.
