Megaloh – The Greatest Ever | Official Video

Megaloh steps up and makes it count.

"The Greatest Ever" is produced by Rhymezi Tunes, recorded and mixed by Rhymez, mastered by Ludwig Maier, directed by SL3PY. The hashtag In Indigo Geschrieben connects the track to an upcoming project, the full scope of which has not yet been revealed. A limited vinyl pre-order is live now.

The title is a bold claim and Megaloh delivers on it entirely in German. That might seem counterintuitive given the English title, but the contrast is deliberate. "The Greatest Ever" as a phrase carries cultural weight that lands differently in German rap than a German equivalent would. The bars underneath are pure Megaloh: sharp, dense, no wasted syllables. Born Uchenna van Capelleveen in 1981, with Nigerian and Dutch roots, he started out rapping in English with the Royal Authority crew in the 90s before switching to German in 2000. That switch defined his career. "The Greatest Ever" sits comfortably in that tradition — English title, German execution, full commitment either way.

His 2025 album Schwarzer Lotus, released on his own Chinonso Records label, was one of the most critically respected German rap releases of the year. Ten of fourteen tracks self-produced, a samurai aesthetic built on craft over trend, a conscious refusal to operate by streaming logic. "The Greatest Ever" keeps that same energy going into the second half of 2026. Same commitment to quality, same refusal to take shortcuts.
