Serial Killers are back with the official video for "Call the Cops". The trio of Xzibit, B-Real of Cypress Hill and Demrick has been working as a unit since 2013. The single first dropped on December 5, 2025 and sits on their album This Thing of Ours, released April 10, 2026 via Ineffable Records.
The LL Cool J Flip
Scoop DeVille, son of Latino Hip-Hop pioneer Kid Frost, produced the track and the entire album. The beat samples LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out", the Marley Marl-produced title track from 1990, and the song title is lifted straight from a line in LL's first verse. It is a smart flip: a battle record from Queens turned into a West Coast posse cut.
Three Voices, One Unit
The three voices sit far apart and that is the appeal. Xzibit hits with full force, B-Real cuts through with his high, nasal delivery, and Demrick sits in between with the most flexible flow of the three. After more than a decade together, they sound like a group and less like a feature list.
