Just three MCs who have spent their entire careers prioritizing craft over everything else, locked in on one beat.
Megaloh is coming off a strong run. His 2025 album Schwarzer Lotus on his own Chinonso Records was one of the most critically respected German rap releases of the year, and "The Greatest Ever" with Rhymezi Tunes kept the momentum going. The Berlin-Moabit MC with Nigerian roots has always operated at the intersection of technical skill and genuine substance. Adding him to a posse cut raises the bar immediately.
Umse is one of the most underrated voices in German underground rap. The Bochum MC has been building a catalog of dense, thoughtful, technically sharp records for two decades. He is the kind of artist other rappers respect deeply even when the wider audience sleeps on him. His presence on this track is exactly the kind of thing that makes heads pay attention.
Lakmann needs no introduction on these pages. We have covered his Argus rollout with Morlockko Plus extensively this year — "Soulmusik," "Kein Palaver," "Six Feet Deep," "Real Talk." Creutzfeld & Jakob since 2000, a career built entirely on directness and skill. Lakmann on a track with Megaloh and Umse is a summit meeting of German boom bap lyricism.
