Benny The Butcher & Harry Fraud – Can't Be Much | Video

Benny The Butcher closes out The Plugs I Met 2.5 the right way. "Can't Be Much" sends the EP off with a symphonic, string-laced outro, Benny getting deep in his coke rap bag lyrically. Now it gets the official video treatment.

The pairing with Harry Fraud makes sense on every level. Fraud handles most of the production on The Plugs I Met 2.5, and the chemistry with Benny goes back to the original sequel in this series. He builds the kind of cinematic, orchestral backdrop that lets Benny work in full mafioso mode without ever feeling overdressed.

The Plugs I Met 2.5 arrived as Benny's 10th extended play, preluding The Plugs I Met III after a run that includes Tana Talk 4, Everybody Can't Go and last year's Excelsior. Two decades in the game and Benny is still finding new corners of the same story to tell. The Buffalo throughline runs deep. Griselda, Black Soprano Family, the cousins Westside Gunn and Conway the Machine all built different chapters of the same legacy, and Benny keeps writing his.

"Can't Be Much" closing the EP on a symphonic note makes it a fitting choice for a video. The track carries weight without needing a feature to prop it up. Just Benny, Harry Fraud, and a beat built for exactly this purpose.
