Benny The Butcher dropped "Summer '24" over producer Nyckles' cinematic violins as the first single off Summertime Butch. "Summer '25" followed as the lead single off Summertime Butch 2, directed by Watch The Screen, with Benny riding through Queens and delivering bars that set the tone for the season. Now "Summer '26" arrives on schedule. The Butcher shows up every summer. You can count on it.
The formula works because Benny treats each installment as a state of the union rather than a seasonal novelty. The world around him shifts — the streets, the culture, the faces — and the "Summer" series captures where he is at in real time. Specific, candid, no filler. The Buffalo MC at his most direct.
2026 has been a full year for Benny already. The Plugs I Met 2.5 with Harry Fraud, the "Can't Be Much" video, "Alley Oop" with Dave East and Styles P ahead of Price Of Pain dropping July 29. The pace has been relentless and "Summer '26" keeps the momentum rolling into the back half of the year.
